Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, effective, and experienced IT Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will use your expertise to monitor and maintain our IT systems. This role will focus on the management of our computer network, database, or systems administration. This role will oversee and perform the installation, configuration, services, repairs, and maintenance of APN information technology systems in both a cloud and client-server environment. Also, participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational. This role will provide high quality, professional support to Arete Provider Network clinics and the national team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the first point of IT support to the national staff.
  • Provide technical support to onsite and remote staff.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software support issues.
  • Triage, prioritize, and document support requests.
  • Build, repair, update and deploy technology solutions for users.
  • Manage disaster recovery and antivirus systems.
  • Support national and clinic technology.
  • Support peripheral technology including printers, phones, copiers, mobile devices, etc.
  • Maintain audio/visual equipment and assist with setup as needed.
  • Manage camera and physical security systems.
  • Interface with supply vendors, database and technical consultants.
  • Interface with Senior Leadership to understand the organization’s current and future technology needs.
  • Manage IT Support Technician (staff and consultants).
  • Advise Senior Leadership on technology planning and projects.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May directly supervises one or more employees within the IT department(s).
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent
  • IT generalist with 3+ years of experience in desktop/network support in a Microsoft environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7/10, Office and O365 products, Active Directory and Cloud Platform.
  • Be well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Efficiently diagnose, research, and follow through with solutions for technical issues.
  • Possess excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with others.
  • Be willing to learn, problem solve, and be resourceful and creative.
  • Familiarity with VMware, Electronic Health Records, Interface Engines and other clinical technologies to support end users and coordinate with consultants.
  • Preference given to candidates with the following: CASP, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, Sec+, Net+, A+, Cloud+, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCDA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, MTA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of hardware technology and concept
  • Must enjoy technology, interacting with others, and helping people.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
